Music Marketing Research

For my new project, my group and I were assigned a music genre. We ended up getting alternative/indie and were told to research artists from the genre. I decided to research 'boygenius', a band with three female members. I listened to a few of their songs and watched their music videos which established their alternative vibe. After the research process, we were told to choose a song out of a list of four. We chose "Trouble" by Cage The Elephant because we were already familiar with it. We brainstormed a name and came up with "The Third Eye" and created the brand for the artist. We are currently filming the music video for the song.
